Festool dust extractors work brilliantly as general shop vacs! Just add one of the Festool cleaning sets to any CT model vacuum to tackle all kinds of dry and wet applications. The various cleaning sets will keep your work sites looking clean and professional.

The sets come in several versions, each with a specific focus. The tools in the kits take into account many situations from a standard workshop, to a general purpose vacuum (the universal) to sets for installers working on-site. All the sets except the Industrial come with Systainers that can be attached to the vacuums for easy storage and transport. The hoses that come with the sets are 1 7/16″ diameter x 11.5’ long, except for the Industrial set, which has a 2″ diameter x 8.25’ long hose. These hoses are all larger in diameter than the stock tool attachment hose, for better clearing of regular debris. The larger hoses can be used with the tool with a reducing attachment. The Compact set does not include a hose.

The Compact Standard Cleaning Set is for cleaning tasks in narrow spaces, on surfaces and on the ground. It does not include a hose. The Tradesman/Installer Cleaning Set is a universal set with a 36mm diameter for maximum cleaning performance, great especially for onsite cleanup (especially residential cleanup. The Floor Cleaning Set is ideal for large floor surfaces. It has a wide nozzle with height – adjustable brush ring and a 36mm diameter hose. The Industrial Cleaning Set features a large diameter (50mm) hose that is great for coarse items like small stones, wood chips and construction debris. It does not have a Systainer.
