You could be forgiven for thinking that the neon green stripe on these stylish black earmuffs were made by Festool, but they’re actually made by Pyramex, a safety gear company. “I like these a lot – they’re not sweaty!” was one enthusiastic review from our un-air conditioned workshop. The protective foam ear cups are large and soft, and the nylon headband is durable and padded. A removable strap holds the muffs for use with a hard hat.The earmuffs exceed ANSI S3.19 requirements and have a noise reduction rating (NRR) of 26 decibels and a single number rating (SNR), a noise reduction metric in the European Union, of 30 dB.
