Z Saw FS-275 Pruning Saw With Holster

As we have expanded our green woodworking options, we have received more requests for pruning saws. So here they are! These Japanese saws have hard, coarse serrations that stay sharp for a long time. As is typical for Japanese saws, they are pull saws, cutting on the pull stroke to make quick work of a tree limb. The saw blade is designed to achieve a smooth cutting surface on the tree, which greatly reduces the healing period and the risk of corrosion. This also leaves a smooth surface on the wood you use for carving.

Although the saw is designed for “arborists and fruit tree growers,” its razor sharp teeth, comfortable grip and convenient holster make it attractive for any number of smooth cutting uses.
